A very short biography.

IMG_3760Kees Rosenhart (Haarlem, 1939) studied at the former Amsterdamsch Conservatorium main subjects organ with Albèrt de Klerk and harpsichord with Gustav Leonhardt. For a longtime he was organist of the Eglise Wallonne in Haarlem and worked as harpsichord teacher at the conservatories of Arnhem and Amsterdam. He is the author of The Amsterdam Harpsichord Tutor and one of the founders of Dutch Clavichord Society. He is one of the initiators of the bi-annual Haarlem Harpsichord Days. He has particularly studied the music for keyboard instruments from the 17th and 18th centuries and its performance on varied instruments such as organ, clavichord, harpsichord and fortepiano.
